Blob Breaker
A clay ball, a clay paddle, and a wall of soft blobs that splat when the ball hits them. Blob Breaker is the ball-and-paddle classic, remade in clay: every hit leaves a dent, every blob goes down with a squash.
What it is
Rows of clay blobs sit above you in different colours. Bat the ball into them and they splat away one by one; clear the wall and a tougher one takes its place. Lose the ball past your paddle and you lose a life. Among the soft blobs sits a row of glazed, fired bricks: the Kiln's work. A fired brick rings when struck and needs two hits before it cracks.
How to play
The ball leaves the paddle at an angle that depends on where it lands: hit it with the edge of the paddle to send it sharply sideways, with the middle to send it straight up. Clearing a path through one side of the wall lets the ball bounce along the top row and take out several blobs at once. Keep an eye on the glazed row; a ball that comes off it comes back fast.
Controls
- Move the paddle: the mouse, your finger, or the left and right arrows.
- Launch the ball: click, tap or Space.
